It's not a major issue.. the awstat won't start process when the domain logs in apache is not rotating.. so it will wait until the log rotation is done.

It depending on how big the log file is or by days or weeks or month to complete the rotation. I think we're on default setting for cpanel unless we have make any changes..but I've read at cpanel forum some users experienced the same issue after updating to newer version of cpanel.. but it fixed once
they run /scripts/runstatonce or /scripts/runweblogs for manual/specific users
