International link congested on 2011/03/10 and 2011/03/11

Update 2011/03/11 - 10.12am (+800)

Dear Customer, Reseller and partner.

As per information from our bandwidth upstream provider. There are 2 cases was causing slow or inconsistent network connection for the last 2 days.

  1. One of the international link was down causing the international link congested. You will experience slow connection to international data transfer. However local (Malaysia) transit remain fine.

  2. Our bandwidth upstream core router was reboot automatically. Initial is suspecting there was cause by power issue. Further investigation is now being carry out by them. We will keep you update by Email or post to our Announcement page at http://www.nocser.net/clients/announcements.php

Update 2011/03/11 - 11.12pm (+800)
We got confirmation from bandwidth upstream, the network inconsistancy was due to Japan Earthquake. As a result of the Japan earthquake that occurred around 1PM today, the undersea cable infrastructure in the region has experienced a capacity hit.

As such, traffic to / from the Unites States and North Asia could be slower than usual. Traffic to domestic content and other parts of Asia, Europe, Middle-east and Google are unaffected.

Update 2011/03/13 - 17.19 (+800)
With refer to our bandwidth upstream provider, their core3 router reboot several time during last 3 days was indentified. An immediate componet replacement will be carry out on 2011/03/14. More detail refer to announcement page
