You can verify this by using the 'dig' command on a REMOTE server:
=> Add an A record to some domain (test.somedomain.com), reload the DNS
zones.
=> Use the following command on the remote server:
# dig XFR somedomain.com @your-dns-server-ip

You shouldn't see the newly created A record. You should only see basic
zone informations and records, not everything.
